“ This was not a great meal by any means, but I was impressed to get something like this for $10 anymore these days. The tomato soup was good, croutons weren't great. The grilled cheese, unfortunately, was very disappointing. I ordered the grilled cheese with a cake, minus the salsa Verde, in order to have two different types of cheese, but, it really just seems like craft American cheese between slices of bread. The bread was all right, but not great either. The one amazing thing about this meal was the baguette! I feel this recipe has never changed and is the perfect taste and texture -- exactly what I expect from a place that specializes in bread. Unfortunately, I tried the bacon mac & cheese from my friends plate, and it tasted nothing like the Panera mac & cheese I was obsessed with just one or two years ago. It tasted much more like Velveeta, which was incredibly disappointing, since this used to be one of my favorite meals. my friend did enjoy the mac & cheese, and I am not a Velveeta person admittedly, so take this with a grain of salt. It just wasn't up to my high expectations based on Panera experiences. I ordered a kiosk, but the employees were very friendly and thanked us for our business. The food came out lightning fast, this was very impressive-- it was probably four or five minutes if not faster! I would definitely come back, but with lower expectations, more closely matching the low price point of this meal. ”
